This woman, the mother of murdered Liverpool Teenager Anthony Walker, is absolutely amazing. When I saw her on the news tonight, standing outside the courtroom and being questioned about forgiveness I was astounded by her faith and dignity. Before answering the reporter's question she took a deep breath, then replied, "Jesus said - Father forgive them - they don't know what they do - and I say the same." Even as she said it I felt tears welling up in my eyes! It is by far the bravest statement of faith I have ever seen on TV. Unfortuneately if you don't live in the Northwest region you probably won't get to see the clip as the higher echelons BBC have created a culture which prevents anything that might show Christianity in a positive light from being broadcast... but that's a subject for another day.More on this story>>>

What words. What faith. Truly amazing.
Hi all, re Gee Walker. I have tears in my eyes every time I think of this story, she is a wonderful person, of true nobility. God bells her and her family for generations for she has shown all that is best in humanity.
Personally I wrote to the office for Honours recommendations as one can now it seems (they're very polite). I urge you to do the same, I think such an excellent example should be publicly recognized. For as a long departed Briton (France)it is such people As Gee Walker that allow me to be proud of being British, not some pop-star or clapped out politician who receives a knighthood.
